Biography
Avon Faire is New York City’s fun, female vocal harmony group, reimagining traditional Celtic folk songs, medieval story ballads, rousing pub tunes, romantic classics and sea shanties from Ireland and the British Isles! Featuring Kath Green and Andriette Redmann, along with singer/recorderist Anna Marie Spallina, dancer/harpist Dawn Daniels, singer/bass and multi-instrumentalist Emma Steen and percussionist John Rokosny.
Avon Faire is getting ready to release their third studio album, 'The Field and the Flower', with a release date sometime later in 2026. Past recordings include 2 CDs - debut album 'Riddles and Love Songs' and 2022 release 'Tales of Love and Adventure' - as well as the Sephardic Lullaby 'Durme, Durme', which is featured on the soundtrack to the Emmy Award winning film "They Survived Together", and the hauntingly beautiful 'Wiegala', featured in newly released film 'The Kid Officer'. 'Tales of Love and Adventure' also features special guests Cáit O’Riordan of The Pogues, Cillian Vallely of Lúnasa, noted cellist Jane Scarpantoni and violinist Matthew Christian.

Starting off 2026, Avon Faire have been busy in the studio working on their 3rd full-length album, which will feature several guests,
including famed Irish dancer Niall O'Leary on accordion and spoons, and percussionist extraordinaire Hearn Gadbois. Check back here for more info!!
