Avon Faire is New York City’s fun, female, traditional 3-part harmony singing group, featuring Andriette Redmann, Kath Green and Anna Marie Spallina; performing traditional Celtic folk tunes, medieval story ballads, rousing pub songs and sea shanties from Ireland and the British Isles - along with percussionist John Rokosny and step dancer Dawn Daniels to keep your feet moving.

Avon Faire now has 2 CDs; debut album “Riddles and Love Songs”, and the just released “Tales of Love and Adventure”.

“Tales of Love and Adventure”  also features special guests Cáit O’Riordan of The Pogues, Cillian Vallely of Lúnasa, and noted cellist Jane Scarpantoni.

2022 is shaping up to be a busy year for Avon Faire!  Along with a brand new album, there are 2 singles to check out - popular sea shanty 'South Australia' featuring Cáit O'Riordan on vocals, and the hauntingly beautiful Sephardic lullaby 'Durme, Durme', taken from the film soundtrack to 'They Survived Together'. All are available for purchase, along with t shirts and other goodies, here: SHOP AVON FAIRE

Live shows and videos are also in the works for this year!  Plans are afoot for a few spring gigs in the NYC metro area, details TBA.  And this summer the band are planning a fifth return to England, as the group embarks on another summer tour in August.

"We are so excited to be traveling to England again, it's always been a highlight of the year for us!"

"Enchanting", says Tim Carroll / FolkWords UK, "Listening to these perfectly balanced voices adds an entrancing level of attraction. If hitting ‘replay’ is any judge, then it certainly makes its mark".

"Lovely stuff", says Dave Pegg of Fairport Convention.

Avon Faire performs in concert, folk and art venues, historic festivals and special events, sharing their magical vocal blend and songs with love.
